An Offer I Couldn’t Refuse

Daily Prompt: Race the clock

I’ll make you an offer you can’t refuse
And out of the dust you will learn to reuse
that which is given or taken away
You’re the one choosing to learn the hard way.
If you think its over its certainly not
You won’t get away without getting caught
He looked at me with a glint in his eye
If you come with me I will won’t I?
Ever since then and up ’till this day
On the run from the law what else can I say?
Out of the dust I learned to reuse
When he made me an offer I couldn’t refuse.
