Today’s DP Challenge~ Write about your strongest memory of heart-pounding, belly-twisting nervousness: what caused the adrenaline? Was it justified? How did you respond?
I was 7 or 8 years old. Standing on a platform high above the ground. There was a wire extending to an adjacent tree about 50 feet away. I had always been afraid of heights and all we had to hold on to was a rope. I put my feet on the knot. Pushed off the platform, and down I went. My first time on a zipline. I loved it. That summer I did it over and over and over again.
